Speer 100gr plinker minimum OAL for 30-30.

I got my paws on a bunch of the Speer 100gr plinker bullets. Their the ones that have a half jacket and a LRN and Speer doesnt list any OAL's for their bullets and im wondering if anyone has a min. OAL for this one. Its being loaded in a 30-30 with 3031 and 748 powders. Im thinking it would be seated just at the edge of the half jacket with a light crimp but just want to make sure. Im going to be loading them at minimum for the kids to shoot them.

I load mine with 10.0gr of Unique. I seat them until the top of the jacket is even with the case mouth and crimp there. Alliant list the OAL as 2.345". The bullet is a Speer 100gr RNSP. I hope this helps.

I'll second that motion and add that they are a fun vermin getter with that load.
