Does anyone have the size of an average factory bullet. I'm not talking the bullets to reload with, an actual loaded bullet ( diameter) I measured one I have and it came up .448. I Slugged the barrel (thanks for the help) in my Llama and found it to be .451. My cast rounds are sized to .452 so that should be ok. I am thinking that if the factory ammo is really that small, it could account for my serious lack of accuracy with that pistol, not too mention that it is a llama :)

I have never measured loaded factory rounds, where did you measure? directly above the case? They may have a factory taper crimp(accounting for smaller measurement) What brand was it?

Factory jacketed bullet size for .45 ACP should be .451.

Pretty much any jacketed bullet found in comercial ammo should be .451 +/- .001.
.448 would be horendously undersized for a jacketed projectile. Did you pull the bullet and measure at the widest part, or just measure what was sticking out of a loaded case? What was the brand of ammo that you measured?
