Recently I purchased three molds for a .32-20 Marlin, 2 RCBS and 1 SAECO. Of the RCBS molds one was a 32-98 SWC and the other was the "high dollar" special order 32-115 FNGC. The SAECO was the 118gr FP.

The 32-98 and SAECO mold both drop bullets that cast around .315" diameter, however the high dollar mold drops .310" diameter bullets and must go back to RCBS.

Has anyone ever dealt with RCBS with mold problems? Do you have a contact number?:Fire:

IIRC their website lists a customer service #. I would call and explain the issue and see if they'll help you. Get the persons name and include it in a letter sent in with the mold for replacement. Although I haven't had such good luck with RCBS and their "Lifetime Warranty", other guys tell of perfect response and complete satisfaction.

Besides trying to call, they have a questions E address, which in returning thing usually they just say return it with a note stating what the problem is.

as a post thought...I re-read the mold description at Midway's sight....da...it says .3105 diameter. User / operator brain box malfunction. We'll see what RCBS says.

lyman makes a 32-20 bullet mold. #311316 about 115grs and gas check. Sort orf the creme de la creme of 32-20 bullets. Get that one instead of fooling around with the rcbs. I don't think you will be disappointed. Frank

Go to Group Buys and see if Cat has any of the 32 Keith molds left. I know he ordered extra, but there were several folks in line as well.

Do they still make this one? I have one, but have not seen it in catalogs lately. Instead, Midway shows the plain-base version, 311008. By the way, when you size the bullets from these molds to around .310, they work very well in the 30-30 with a modest load of Unique. Very accurate, very pleasant to shoot.

Wayne,
I already got in line for the group buy (even before this RCBS debockel). I like the mold just didn't have a need for it before.

If push comes to shove I will use the bullet in my 788 in .30-30.

Thanks for all of your help gents.:drinks:
