Front sight on my mark1 looks bent to the right causing hits to the left. 3" at 20. Anybody know if I can bend this back without holding two pieces when I'm done?

No way to be sure. It may have been bent a couple of times, work hardening
the steel so it will crack on the next bend. If it were me, I'd warm the sight
to BARELY detectable red glow (in very dim light) for a few seconds, then let it cool
slowly. This will partially anneal the steel, making it soft enough
to bend safely.

If you like to experiment, bend a coat hangar with pliers 45 deg and back until
it just cracks, counting the cycles. Then move a couple inches down and bend
it one less cycle. Now heat this bend to just detectable red (in very dim light)
with a propane torch for 10 sec, then cool. Now bend the same spot a few more cycles,
to see that you have removed the work hardening - it shouldn't crack. Don't
overheat the pistol, but I seriously doubt the bbl is/was heat treated, so no
weakening should occur at any remotely reasonable temperature. DO NOT
COOL THE HOT STEEL QUICKLY, this may harden it and increase the likelihood
of cracking the sight.

You may get away with bending cold, might not, too.
