Im looking for some data for loading slugs and .375 RB's? in AA hulls. If anyone has any advice or suggestions I would appreciate it. I cant find any load data for this and driving me nuts trying to find some. Thanks, Mike

Take a look at the loading data here:

http://www.buckandslug.co.uk/

Might help.

There might be some here too:

I'll take a look in my Reloading for Shotgunners manual as I seem to recall some .410 slug data. If I find any I'll post it.

This is what I came up with 3 lee 38 caliber balls and 5 grains of clays. No gunutz injured during my experiments. You are right I could not find much in the way of load

mikenbarb:

I only find 2 loads in the BPI slug manual:

hull = Winchester 3"
primer = Win 209
powder = 2400
charge = 18.2 gr.
filler = 1 x .410 nitro card wad .100" thick
slug = DGS.410wad & 92 gr. slug
press = 12,300
vel = 1300

hull = Winchester 3"
primer = Win 209
powder = IMR 4227
charge = 19.4 gr.
filler = 1 x .410 nitro card wad .100" thick
slug = DGS.410wad & 92 gr. slug
press = 11,100
vel = 1350

Not much but I hope it helps.

be carefull with the balls .375 will work in a full choke if you use a card an filler wad NO shotcup. I use a shot cup with the petles cut off. and stack 4 balls in a 3in. Cut the crimp off and drop 6 or8 drops of bee wax on topball. I use H110 dont have load in front of me but same as for 3/4 oz shot load
