Earlier this week I was in a gun-sports store near Ashland, Ky. They had some shotgun primers out with a sign stating: 1,000 primers per customer only. Didn't see any rifle or handgun primers. Didn't think to ask. 'Tuck

The reloading shop here in St. Joe hasn't run out of primers any time I've been in there. The only problem is the price keeps going up $26.00 a thousand for Winchester.

10 boxes of 1k DE
im payin $27 a box. and am happy to do it because the place i shop at is a good store with great customer service frendly people, is a family run place, and has most of the reloading stuff i want on a regular basis mainly powder and primers but also ammo. so ill fork over the extra $2-3 a box for conveince and beacuse i cant come up with enough $ at one time to buy a case of primers to make the hazmat fee worth my while. although i need to ask if they can get me a 8lber of bullseye or promo. hmm back to pinchin pennys again

I paid $30.95 for a box of 1000 Win L R Mag primers yesterday. When I knew I was going to retire in a few years I started stocking up om components in case the bucks were short in retirement. Glad I did. I'm working on $12.95 per thousand primers now. Never bought mag primers so paying the price now.
