My molds never feel the rapp of the boolet release device to get the them to fall out!!!
If they don't drop easy then the mold gets a light lapping/deburring to fix the problem.

Now the mold handle hinge pin is another story.

I always rapp on the hinge pin with a plastic hammer. It works very well. Rapping on the end of the mould over time can case damage loosening the mould goints and pins. It's fine if you don't mind buying a replacement mould every so often!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for noticing!

"Rapping" is the key; I've been guilty of rapping like Hades years ago. If rapping is required, something's wrong. Out of curiousity, just try this method; but no "rapping"; please! Lol! I think you will see doing so may be beneficial.

Harmonic molds! Cool!
I learned casting from my Uncle about a million years ago (or so it seems) and was told if I ever hit the mold instead of the handle he would have dipped my hand in the lead pot!
