Anyone knowledgable in older gun values? I know its a relative thing depending on how bad a buyer is wanting it or how long he's been looking for one But its worth asking. I have a old Remington 17A 20 ga. basicly its the grand daddy of the Ithica 37 almost the same in every way. It was mfg. in 1928-31 cond. is approx.85%.
Its a joy to carryat only 5.5 lb but its not well suited for grouse hunting due to a 28"barrel and full choke. I am considering selling /trading for a nice little 20 ga.O/U with changable chokes so I can have a more mutli purpose gun, but I honestly have no idea what the old Remington is worth. Anybody care to venture a educated guess?
