Looking for a goodplinking load for .270 cast

Anybody got a good plinking load for .270 Win using lead boolits?

What kind of lead bullets you got? I'll go look in my cast bullet handbook.

Two different bullets are listed and a bunch of powders load data starting at about 1600 ft per second. What kind of plinking loads are you looking for?

123 grain Hunters Supply cast. I have had good luck with their 165 grain .30 boolit in my 30/30 with 5.5 grains of Red Dot. Looking for something similar for .270. Velocity not important, as long as it will punch a hole in a paper target.

I suspect that you could load your 270 with the same powder charge and it would still punch paper just fine. May find it desirable to increase powder charge to account for the increased case capacity of 270 vs 3030, if you're not getting enough pressure to seal case mouths and seal the deal on accuracy. I am very much enjoying loading and shooting something similar for my 308 I'm using 6.5 grains of Bullseye with 150 grain Noe powder coated plain base bullets. They shoot the paper just fine :-)
