Anyone here cast and load for the .454 Casull?
My son bought a lever rifle and I have a few questions.

I have shot many cast bullets in a 454. I have loaded the same load as s j bullet. I used H110 powder.

Which lever? (pressure level)

I have only heard of pressure levels for 45 Colt. The 454 Casull is an extremely hot round so anything that chambers it is supposed to be safe.

At least maybe.....The only lever action I know of that fires a Casull is a Rossi and I personally wouldn't touch one.

Would you believe.... 65,000 psi ?

Who makes for general consumption other than Rossi? ($1,000)

I use 30 grains H110 with a Lee 300 grain WFN. Very accurate. I shoot these in a Ruger Super RedHawk. Would like to try them in a Rossi 92.

I shoot the 300 gr Lee with a case full of Lilgun for just under 2000 fps. It handles that just fine.
