I've been thinking about trying this mold and have a few questions. How much does it weigh cast from WW? What is the nose to crimp lenght? How long is the front band?

I'm with ya MH. How many times have I drooled over a picture and longed for dimensions. Actually, I think I'd get more excited over a list of dims than a pic.

Good luck.

Just cast a few of the above mentioned bullet. Cast of pure WW, weight is 305 grs., +,- . Overall length is .810", with GC. Nose to Crimp groove .350". The front driving band is .065" wide. Hope this helps, guys. I've loved this bullet for years, since reading about it in a Paco Kelly blog. Over 23.0 grs H110, I get 1260 fps from my 71/2 " Rugers with excellent accuracy.

This has been my all purpose 45 lc power bullet since I got back into casting. I get 317 grains and .828 long, lubed and checked at .452. My mold drops wide bullets, they run from .456-.457 and I step size them with a .454 before going to .452. On the plus side a little beageling and I have a bullet for the 45-70.:-D

that is in my opinion the hands down best 45 heavy a guy can own. It shoots very accuarately in every 45 ive tried it in and it does a fine job of putting down game.

I think I might just have to order one up. I've been looking for a good all around mold for my FA's. I want something I can drive if I want to, and also load some on the light side if I feel like it. Thanks for all the help. The nose lenght sounds like it will fit the FA also.
