Lyman handbook of cast bullets volume 1 and 2

Are there many differences in volume 1{1958} and volume 2{1973} in the Lyman handbook of cast bullets? Looking for load data on 38-55win cast loads using IMR 4227 also.
Wondering if buying volume 1 and 2 would have duplicate information in them, not only the reloading data but also other information? Of the two, if buying only one which would be the better choice overall?

I just looked in my Volume 2 and there isn't any load data using IMR4227. Just Red Dot, Green Dot, Unique, 700x, PB, and 230. t
The only reference I could find was in the Ken Waters Pet Loads. Lyman 375248 boolit. 18.0 grains 4227. 1340 fps. Rem 9 1/2 primer.OAL 2.55".noted as "consistent load"
Don't trust my dictation verify before using.

Lyman’s 42nd edition reloaders handbook has loads using 2400,4227,4759,4198,Hi-vel, 3031 for jacketed. Add unique to list w cast.
