I have just purchased a used 12 gauge 475 grain Lyman Shotgun Slug mold but found it was without data unlike the 525 grain die I bought New.

Does anyone have the reload data for the 475 grain Lyman Slug?

Hull, Powder type, Powder weight, Primer, Wad, Pressure, and Muzzle Velocity?

Particularly, for the Winchester AA hull.

Is this the standard Lyman Foster slug? That is a smooth sided, round nose, hollow base slug.

I have a Lyman Foster mould but it is 445 gr. I believe (nominally 1 oz.) and casts at 0.705" diameter.

I do have quite a bit of loading data for the Lyman Foster and others of similar weights between 1 oz. and 1 3/8 oz.

I'll look up some loads for suitable weight slugs and post them for you. May be a day or two as I am working on kids cars so kinda busy.

You should be able to find loads here:

http://data.hodgdon.com/shotshell_load.asp

Alliant used to list slug loads too but no more!

Wait, try this:
