I have a Rossi model 92. Interarms was the importer. I don't like the rear sight. What options do I have other than a tang?

Brian,
I had the same question a few weeks ago. The guys here helped me out a lot. One of the things I didn't know was that some to the Rossi Pumas have a 3/8 dovetail groove for the mid sight. If your rifle has that size groove you can order out a Marble or a Lyman and just replace the funky rivited job it came with. You might want to check this out first before you throw a big chunk of money at it. If you do anything else you need to drill holes ie. tang or receiver sights. I intend to install a Marble folding mid sight for now and get a tang sight later. When I use the tang I'll just fold down the Marble middle sight. Keep writin', I'm learnin'. Helice
