A local store has one of these for sale. I've never heard of them but they are interesting. 7.65X20 round.

I've never owned one, as most considered the cartridge they use as underpowered for modern needs. Mike Venturino wrote an article or two on hand loading for them. Their fire control mechanism owes something to the Toakarv, or maybe it's the other way around. :D

The 1935A is a pretty solid sidearm. The 7.65 French Long is very closely based on the 30 Pederson (of Pederson Device fame).
Prvi makes ammunition and brass for the 7.65 FL. Hornady .308" 90gr FTX works very well in the cartridge

As for all the talk of the 7.65 French Long being "underpowered", I recommend a close comparison to it and the 30 Super Carry.

As a side note: the Craft Holsters Cross Draw Driving Holster for the T33 Tokarev fits the 1935A like a glove.

I've had a couple of them, and when using ammo from Buffalo Arms they were very pleasant shooters. The designer, Charles Petter, patented his action and SIG bought rights to produce it as the SIG P210. It is a much easier handgun to feed nowadays because Starline occasionally makes a run of the brass.

It's one of those guns that jumps out at you in the case. It comes with a holster and extra mag. They're asking just under $700 for it. Normally, I'd be tempted, but the timings all wrong.

$700!!!! Dang starline for making brass! They were $180 in the past 5 years and I believe I paid $27 for my D model in the early 2000's / late 90's. I own a couple of them. Fun to shoot! The original rounds I could find were steel so making the ammunition was half the fun!
I also have fired (gasp!!) 30 Pederson from them!!!
In my defense I found a deal on some at a random gun show.

So, the question is, are they worth $700?
I almost bought a Nagant 1895 revolver not too many years ago for real cheap money, but I passed. Now, look at the prices.
Speaking of Nagants, ten or so years ago, I think I paid about $100 for a Mosin.
I went to the store yesterday to check out an antique (1860s) MERRIMACK ARMS SOUTHERNER single shot .41 for about half the price of the M1935. I ended up putting the SOUTHERNER derringer on hold. What's interesting is that it was made approx 5 miles from where I live in Newburyport, MA.
Here's an example of the SOUTHERNER. Not practical, but very cool. The one I put on hold is about in the same condition, maybe a little better, as this one.

But, that M1935 is still tempting, especially since there's brass available.

I would not pay that much for one, but I do not know the Massachusetts gun market. They have appreciated in value, or at least cost, but that seems about 200 dollars high.

Yeah, I paid less than $200 for the ones I bought, but 15- 20-ish years ago, when you could find a Finn Mosin Model 39 at Big Five for $100 .... SIGH ...

The gun is in Maine. Their prices are usually in the middle - sometimes high, sometimes low. I'd have to use my C&R to buy it. This does seem high but I haven't shopped around yet.

That's a tough gun to price out. I can't find another one for sale. Back in 2009 one sold for $250, then a few years later (no date) one sold for $750.
There is a great deal of info on the gun.
