Do you have any concerns seating the gas check below the neck?

I haven't yet and honestly no not really. Especially since j usually bake the PC over the gc

One of the tricks to getting better groups with cast bullets is to weight sort them. The key to accuracy is repeatability. If one bullet out of a group is either significantly heavier or lighter than the rest it will naturally open up the spread on your target. The way I do it (when I'm trying for an accurate load) is to weigh a whole batch of bullets. Whatever the average weight is, I select all the bullets that are within 1 grain +/- of that weight, and these are my "target" bullets. All the bullets that are heavier or lighter then these average bullets are used for plinking or offhand shooting practice. Weight sorting your bullets will cut down on those fliers that spoil an otherwise good group.

That third cartridge looks like is seated a bit deeper than the other two. If not 'fixed' it could be an issue (and may be the high fps round).

I agree on weight sorting. I usually sort to 0.1gn batches for my rifle bullets. Makes a difference out at 200yd and longer.

Probably will weight sorry when I get a little more serious with these....that being said someone on here had a big ong post about how it don't honestly help much so idk

Yeah think that was the first one I used to playing. With seating depth.

Weighing just depends on how accurate you expect to be at what range. My closest shots are at 100 and most are at 200yd and longer. If I don't weight sort, the 200yd groups are over 4". For a hunter that might be ok. For me it is horrible. So, sorting to 0.1gn gets me in the 2" range at 200yd.

There are still some jacketed 100yd bench rest shooters who don't bother to weigh powder charges, they just throw from a measure. That extra precision just isn't as noticeable at 100yd like it is at longer ranges.
