Hello from Colorado Boom Boom Gang! :bigsmyl2:
The last week, or so the weather around these parts (Trinidad, CO) has been just too cold to comfortably go outside to shoot for an old man. Well today, all that changed! A gorgeous day! Anyway, I declared it an official 45acp Holiday, pulling out almost every 45 acp I own! Skimming the board earlier, I found a topic pertaining to Taurus. Why are many folks down on Taurus? I own no less than 6 of their products; and, except for one of my model 1911s can't find anything wrong with them! Here's some pics of my outting taken for your enjoyment.

A few of my 45s. If I have a favorite it's a Kimber which is not shown. I also like anything with 45acp stamped somewhere; did I by chance mention that?Dang post; its shadow! :)

Who says Taurus's can't shoot? This target is from my range; shot at 15 yards, or so but from bench with one of my Taurus's 1911s.

My Kimber.
I bought my Kimber over 5 years ago. This little semi has over 2000 shots fired through it and is still going strong. One of my better buys.

Here's a pic of my shooting bench. I seldom shoot free hand/freestyle anymore. But, any time I can boom boom, I do it anyway I can. :)

The view, on top my mountain is just terrible. That's Fisher's Peak in the background. A pretty well known site around these parts.

**Oh, I came back to add a photo of my War-Wagon.
I can't forget my ArticCat Gal!

Thank you for your interest,

When I look at your setup and I think about the dungeon that I pay 15 dollars an hour to shoot in it makes me want to cry.

Beautiful.

Very Nice Roy, looks like the kind of place a man could be happy at. Nice selection of AP's you have also, thanks for sharing, we still have +1.5 ft of snow and -0 up here in the frozen north so you can see that I am envious :drinks:

Hey Guys!
Thanks for enjoying my vu! :)
Colorado is a pretty state; but even in the south, and the mountains the weather can change in a heart beat.

#One,
No, not really. Does my wife, and three dogs count? :)
I'm a loner by nature; so, it's suits me fine.

That cup holder was resting a Pepsi at the time. Later, it got something a tad stronger.
Coors Light! :)

Well, shootin's over!

Hey, I shot my .45ACP today too! I was doing a 'brass' test with my Dan Wesson 1911. It had problems with R-P factory loads, jams and misfeeds, even with 230gr ball. I loaded 30 Lee 200gr LRNFP boolits and 5.2grains of Titegroup. Average velocity was 980fps. I think I'm going to back it down for USPSA shooting. :D

Hey J2!
I know those DWs are tough little boomers; but 980fps?
That's a tad warm! Lol! Most of my loads average around 800.
But then, you are referring to the 200gn bullet; right? I tend to shoot
mostly 230gn. But with molds arriving daily, bought used off the board I'll be
slinging some lighter lead very soon!

Thanks!
