God Saved My Life Tonight!

I was on my way to bible study and I saw a wrench in the road at an intersection between a county road and a state highway. I turned around and pulled into the country road and hopped out. I heard a truck coming from my left, and looked around my van, and thought "that truck could hit that wrench and send it flying." Something told me to step back, and I backed up into the crook of my open door and car body. The truck moved over the center line and hit the wrench with his right wheels. It came flying towards me, and I put my arms up, the wrench hit my vehicle, I think the edge of the door, and flew about a foot from my head I estimate. I heard a whirring as it went by. It landed on the otherside of the road. It flew very fast and hit hard, and would have killed me if it'd hit me in the head. It was a double box end offset 9/16x5/8 Bluepoint wrench.

Pretty awesome that God protected me! No doubt, satan would prefer I'd not made it to bible study. I take myself, my wife, my 4 year old and my newborn. My 4 year old plays and draws, but he sits in bible study with us, not shuffled off to some room to play games. Got to bring the boy up in the word!

There but for fortune. Usually it is a thin edge of divine intervention. At times you get a very distinct feeling that, as the events start to stack up, there is an unfulfilled purpose to your life, that you still have left to do in this life. It is an odd feeling, no idea of the how what and where, but it is what it is.
