A LGS has 4lbs of Accurate TCM powder for $26 a lb. My burn rate chart shows it being at an identical burn rate as 2400 powder. This seems like a great price considering how powder prices have soared. Does anyone have experience with this powder???

One of my cronies uses it in his 41 magnum. From the Accurate website download, it would appear that it is strictly a magnum powder, with loads listed for the 357, 41, and 44 Magnums, plus some 45 Colt Ruger only.

I did some testing in my 44 mag with this TCM powder & my home cast 260gr bullets. The results were almost exactly the same , grain for grain as with 2400 powder.

I've used it in my .357, seems to work just fine. I used Accurate's load info

And with a 10% coupon code, price is $21.50 per pound. I ordered 3 lbs just to see how I like it.

What code did you use?

I will have to look, but only one code worked for powder. it was the code sent when i signed up for text messaging. None of the AR15, bullet, cngears or other codes worked on powder on sale.

Midway was trying to get rid of it a while ago. They were selling #1 for $18 and 5# for $98, so I have a bunch too but haven't really messed with it that much. It's pretty fluffy so in some cartridges where 2400 or aa9 works, tcm doesn't because it just takes up too much space. I've been meaning to try it in 32 special and 45 colt but I've been busy with other projects. I'll try and remember this thread and make some loads. I have very little 2400, so I'll have to look back at some Chrono data for that.

Sounds interesting I'll have to get some and load up some rounds immediately.

Just as a note, most probably already know, TCM was developed for the 22 TCM cartridge.
