The web site is not showing current availability. I would imagine after the back orders get filled it will go general sale until it's gone.

I called them and was able to go online and place an order for 480 Ruger brass, it now shows as backorder but I was able to place my order.

Thanks guys! I BO a small amount to fill in my stock for what I'd shared. It'll be nice to have what I feel is my safe minimum on the shelf again!

I also placed an order today. Order status says processing instead of backordered. :-) Maybe they have some stock?
The funds were deducted from my card too.

I've got an order with Starline for some 50-90 Sharps brass, my order has said "processing" for about fourteen months. I sent them an email, they replied that "processing" means I'm still remembered and not forgotten, they just haven't run any Sharps brass. The nice lady said they were slowing digging themselves out of the hole they have found themselves in for the last couple of years and were hoping to start running some items that had less demand. They haven't charged my credit card for the Sharps brass, I would guess you're probably way up on the list and your order will be coming soon.
Thank goodness I bought some 480 Ruger brass before things got tight, maybe I'll go check my stock and see if I need more.

Better count them. More times than not I get shorted a piece. When I called them asking to send me the last piece, I was offered a refund for the value of the one missing piece or I could have returned my 99 for a full refund.

I seem to recall SPEER bullets came 101 in a box, just in case one was missing or deformed. Long ago.

Sierra used to do that!

101 per box!

Thinking that practice went away with the arrival of the Bean Counters;
I've never seen Speer Grand Slams come with one extra. ;-)

I've bought from a lot of suppliers that did that. I remember once I was at the Wanenmacher Show here in Tulsa buying some once fired brass. Guy had a scale that weighed out individual pieces. He filled up the paper sack with my desired amount, then grabbed a handful and sprinkled them into the bag, and said he'd rather be long than shy... I thanked him for the honest transaction, and bought a lot more brass from him for several years before I stopped going to the big show after it got the way it has...

You definitely get judged harder when your short a piece or two...
