Looks like I will get a chance to shoot the .411-265 Thursday after work.
I will be shooting a TC Encore 410GNR-12" bll (TC factory 41 Mag barrel)
This is a 454 Casull necked down to 41 caliber (Gary Reeder wildcat),this round will put a 265gr cast out at 1900-2100 fps at 50-55K pressure.I cast up 200-300 bullets last saturday using WW,these I water dropped (BHN 23-27),for lube I use BBT/magma-50/50. At these pressures they need to be hard cast.
I will give an update when I get home from shooting.Hopefully they will shoot good enough I can take this bullet to Africa with me in March.

Sean, can you post a picture of the cartridge and boolit? I'd love to see them. Let us know how things worked. Sounds like an interesting cartridge.
I am still waiting to get a cahnce to mould a couple of those boolits myself for my .41 Ruger Blackhawks.

Well I got to shoot the 265gr WFNGC today, using the TC Encore and H110 and WC680,velocities ran from 1937-2052 with the H110 and 1910-1989 with the WC680 these are high pressure loads 50K+.Accuracy was around 2.5" at 50 yds with 1 load going .75" (clover leaf) 2000+ fps, so I will try this load again and a couple others.
The bullets in the photo are LT--->RT
LBT 240 WFNGC
MM 255 WFNGC
Lee 265 WFNGC** Group Buy
MM 295 WFNPB
MM 305 WFNGC
MM 325 WFNGC
The case on the left is a 41 GNR-44 mag necked down to 41-fits SBH revolvers
The case on right is the 410GNR-454 necked down to 41-TC and 5 shot revolvers

3/4 inch at 50 yards, huh. Looks like you could be on to something there.:) Now I just gotta find the $$ and then find me a Marlin .41 Mag Levergun to try this puppy in. 'Course I'd never sneeze at a good .41 Mag Wheeler either.

Thanks again for honchoing this deal Sean. Even though I don't have a .41 yet I'm glad I got a mold set back for that day.

Thats quite a range of heavy 41 boolits. What does the group buy boolit do in comparison to the others?

Tough to say at this point since I have not taken any game yet,If I can repeat the accuracy of the .75" load I will end up taking that load to S .Africa in March of this year. The 265 WFN has a 75 % meplate and the others have a 80% ,MAYBE the smaller 75% meplate will help in overall accuracy.
The 255gr WFN I have traded to another person on this forum.
The other heavier weights I just wanted to work up loads and check accuracy in a Ruger SBH and TC encore and they do shoot good enough to hunt with.

I really like this bullet so far it casts out at 246 grains without check or lube with 1/3 ww 1/3 lyno and 1/3 pure . Which is an alloy close to #2 and to me thats a more usefull weight then 265 grains anyway and the smaller nose looks closer to an lfn then a wfn. Its probably the most consistant lee mold i have as all the cavitys are within 1 grain of each other. if this bullet shoots as well as it looks its going to be a winner.

straight WW,BHN 14 after 2 weeks aging.
I do water drop them BHN 24+ for shooting in my TC Encore 410 GNR.
