Rasberry Phillips, a relative by marriage, was laid to rest today. Mr. Phillips was a veteran of the 101st who road a glider into Normandy on 6 June 1944. He fought in some of the worst combat of WW2 and helped forge the legend of the 101st. Everafter he counted every day he lived a gift and lived accordingly. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
