What are these (nj)

I recently Picked these up @ a Gun show In Pa. They appear to Fit Military 45 ACP Autos . They are very Old and the leather is hard. . I stuffed some paper to Hold the shape
Holsters are 2 sided Therefor 3 on the front and 3 On the back
Anyone seen anything like this this

they are for ship board use/storage of 45 ACP military issue. A guy can grab 6 at a time to be carried to a group like bridge crew. Just saw them being used in an old WWll movie.
