Hello!

I am not sure if this is the forum to ask my question in, but here it goes.

I want to make some 44 Magnum and 50AE arounds but I only have Sellier & Bellot Large Pistol primers. Their website says that it is good for 44 Magnum.

If I am using H110 as a powder, will these primers suffice for a magnum load? I don't think Sellier & Bellot makes magnum primers.

Anybody have experience with H110 and these large pistol primers?

Thanks!

Omar

Not ideal for colder weather, but should be OK otherwise.

I have read indications that S&B are on the mild side; I am using my S&B's for my general-use loads, saving my supply of Winchester primers for my ball powder & magnum loads. Please let us know if you see any interesting velocity variations.

Thanks for the replies!

I am reluctant to use these primers with H110 as they aren't explicitly branded as magnum primers.

Has anybody used these primers with standard H110 loads for 44 Magnum and 50AE?
