Lost my Dad on Presidents day
Served US Army 1943-1945
Fought in the Phillipines.
He got to see my M1 carbine set up just the way he carried it during the war.
His eyes did light up when he held it, unfortunlaty he was never well enough to go to the range with me and shoot it.

I hope to go to the range and put some rounds downrange in his honor, when things settle down some.

For you and Tom W. and both your family's.

I lost My Dad 3 days before President Reagen was shot, but remember that day and him, as though it was yesterday.

Peace be with all of you.
