Mixing Lube(s) "opinions" solicited

Of course we all know it is hard to get an opinion out of this group . . .

Well, I am coming to the bottom of the group buy FWFWL and still have 10-12 sticks of 50/50, some (about a lb) of Alox 2138 and enough beeswax to alloy that to 50/50. I also have 3 sticks of Lyman Moly lube.

Should I just throw it all in a pan and make a batch to last a year or two.

? ? ? What say ye out there Lube Ex-spurts ? ? ?

I'd just use up what you've got, see no reason to mix it especially the moly which I'm not a big fan of as its awfully messy. Maybe try and swap that.

When its all gone restock with Lars White Labe Lubes.

I'd keep the Alox and bees wax as a fall back source.

Just keep using what you have untill you use it up, if it doesn't degrade your accuracy. That moly should be sold to some unsuspecting.... err... offered to a noobie at a good price. and as dromia said stock up on Lars lubes.....

I have Lars lube waiting for me to run out of my other lube. The moly & other, save for emergency.

another ,not a fan of the moly here.
i mix lubes from different sources to make my own blend.
but i think that lars's mix of 50/50 and carnuba should be a good enough lube for bout anything,i use a similar mix with a couple of things added now...

If I hadn't started making my own, I could have lived happily ever after with Lymans Super Moly. Excellent groups, and great at leading prevention. Yeah, it's a bit messy, but anyone who will even have Alox in the house should be used to a mess. Yuck.

I'd just mix that 2138F with beeswax and use it straight. They discontinued 2138 years ago and the substitute seems to be 350. If you've never used 2138 you don't know how much different it is, but it really is. Treasure it.

I mix Lyman orange magic, super moly and spg together. Go ahead if you want to

Mix it all together, blend in an equal amount of udder balm to increase the volume, name it Homo Lube and put it on eBay. I think that name is available, now...
