had some items for sale. they did sell. so, i clicked "close this thread". wil the thread go away??

I'm not sure, but I think it should.

If you put 'close this thread', or 'all items sold', etc. as a reply to your own thread-
As heavily monitored as the S&S section is,
a monitor will move it to the 'closed deals' section whenever they see that.

If you check the "Close this thread" box at the lower left hand corner of the "Quick Reply" window before you click on "Post Quick Reply" it closes the thread and no more posts may be added. As far as I know it takes a moderator to then come along and move the thread to "Completed Deals."
