I've been wanting one of these 8 shot revolvers for a very long time. Who among you guys has one of these and has shot it, what did you think about it? What kind of stuff did you shoot through it, what did you shoot at , did you shoot it a lot or a little?

I know that I'm going to want to upgrade my hand reloading press to some sort of progressive press at least for brass preparation purposes if I do this... probably also want to get some more eight cavity gang molds since unfortunately my 8 cav MP358429 bit the dust when I broke it :-( , probably also do me good to lay in for a additional couple hundred pounds of lead since I'm down to my last 45 lb:-(. Heck I've got two hands and two feet I think I'll just Mosey on over to the gun shop and see what's going on:-) I hope you all are having a good morning

Mine isn't the 8 shot one. It's the older 6 shot version. Love mine.

I don't have one. Sure would like one though. Heck... I didn't even know they made an 8 shot Redhawk, had to go check it out. https://ruger.com/products/redhawk/specSheets/5059.html

I have both six and eight-shot. Great revolvers!

I have both six and eight-shot. Great revolvers! How much have you shot the 8 shot? What types of ammunition have you fired out of it and how was the performance on target?

I've shot both plenty. Hundreds of rounds (all handloads) mostly of a 160-180 gr SWC over WC297 or 2400 powder. For ME, both revolvers perform quite well but I shoot mostly steel targets not paper so can't say they are MOA or not...
