44 Mag with IMR4227

Hi guys...
I am looking for advice/load for a 290/295 gr cast (0.430) using IMR4227.
I think 18 grains would do the trick, but I could use other opinions.

My starting load for IMR4227 with 300gr cast with GC is 19gr for 1185fps. It goes up steeply from there.

Hodgdon recommends starting with 18.0 grains of IMR-4227 with a 300 grain Hornady XTP for 1180 FPS - the only bullet of that weight that they show data for. Max is 20.0 grains for 1313 FPS.
