All contain 1 coating, except the Transparent Copper and Candy Copper on the slugs (darker Candy Copper slugs are from The Powder Coating Store).
The copper from both companies required 2 coatings (PP) and 3 coatings (TPCS).

Tools Used:

3" PVC pipes cut 6" long with matching end caps (PVC is the 3rd highest generator of negative(-) electrons after Teflon and Silicon [not Silicone] which makes the powder stick and why we use PP5 containers, which creates less negative ions but still works).

Harbor Freight rock tumbler (not vibration) for 5 minutes with powder and boolits in the PVC tubing.

Metal strainer with netting to shake off excess powder after tumbling.

Metal pan covered in parchment paper for the oven.

Convection Oven @ 400F for 10 minutes.

Water or air cool.
I prefer using a piece of parchment paper to manually roll the buckshot around for a few minutes and separate any that are stuck.
Then I drop them into an empty 5gal bucket, and toss/swirl them around to ensure no more are stuck.

The benefits of powder coating are:

No, or extremely little, lead fouling in gas operated shotguns.

Eliminates lead exposure when reloading.

No need for bullet lubricant.

Little to no lead and/or lubricant smoke when shooting.

You can use clear hulls to "color code" your different shot sizes and slugs.

It can be aesthetically pleasing or ASMR

Glow in the dark! That’s cool.

Thanks! I've seen mixed reviews on it's ability to glow. Apparently I have no issues. LOL
