Greetings,
Here is the reason for the question.
Mother, a Washington resident, wants to give a revolver that belonged to the deceased Washington father to a son who lives in California.
We would prefer this to happen without the assistance of an FFL.
1) Is it legal for the son that lives in the LA basin to possess a revolver? I assume yes, but it is California:violin:.
2) This is a transfer between relatives that is still legal in Washington. Can it be transferred to a relative in California?
3) Can the son collect the revolver in Washington and transport it to his residence in CA?
4) I am a son-in-law, Can I carry this revolver to CA and place it in his hands? (Mother to son in law (Me) to brother in law.)
I would love for my wife to take possession of this only factory fired, 4" blue 1971 Python, in factory box with $190.00 price tag still attached. But I do not think that will happen:sad:.321389
