I’m looking to invest in a dry fire system for my Ruger Vaqueros in 45. Maybe a 9mm version too for Glock training, but there are several to choose from. Mantis X, G Sight, etc.

Does anyone have any real experience with a laser system that is worth the bucks in your opinion? It would be nice to know where your shot hits and speeds and such. It mostly beats conventional dry firing to be able track your progress, maybe?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I bought two of the cheaper ones (9mm) on fleabay - they work great. No idea how they compare to the more expensive versions, but they are good enough for me.
For software, I am using a PC with a camera and red filter and this free software here: https://www.projekt-ares.de/ It has some really nice programs built in and as said, is free.
