I have a desire to load heavy subsonic 160 grain PC boolits in 9mm. Few of the load manuals have any data for boolits this heavy. I have a good supply of CFE Pistol, HP38 and Ramshot Zip. Anyone have recommended or preferred loads involving these powders at this weight?

All factory load data is here. I found a 158gr HP38 and a 160gr CFE here.

What an excellent load data resource!! Thanks Urquell!! That not only satiates my thirst for data on this combination, but gives me answers on nearly any other load for any caliber I fancy!! VERY COOL!!!!

Now that is interesting, because I have Hodgdon's most recent publication from just a year ago, and it doesn't cover 160 grainers. Hmmmmmm.

Yeah I love that site. Can't believe more people don't know about it.

I posted a thread with the link in it so others can benefit from it.

See post #75 here https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/seating-depth.925253/page-3

I loaded a 163 gr lswc as a test. Some thick walled brass will bulge at the base of the seated bullets. Rounds dont chamber, jam, using USA brass. My bullet diameter was .3568"

I used Hodgdon online data for 160 gr coated bullets & HS-6 powder. Worked well with Blazer brass & Fed200 mag primer.
