Lyman # 57ES sight, $?

I have a chance to pick up this sight but don't know the value of it. Is it worth $25? Looks to be in good condition.

The #57 sights retail at $70 in Brownells, $64 in Midway catalogs (shipping extra) but I don't see the "ES" listed among them in either catalog. Do you know what it was designed to fit on? It sounds like a good deal if you have what it was made for....

Based on the info I could find, the susfix represents the manufacturer the sight fits. W=Winchester, M=Mossberg, etc. My guess is that your sight fits the Enfield SMLE........and that is a guess.

Lyman 57ES will fit:
Winchester models: 47,67,68,72,74,and 75 sporter.
Remington models: 33,34,550.
H&R models: 251,265.
High Standard: Sport King

Yes, it is worth $25. I buy good condition Lyman sights and sell them, make no $ but it keeps me busy. Any Steel Lyman 57 or 66 in good condition with apertur is worth $35 to me, I buy all I find.
