Can anyone identify these.
I believe the 1/2 bar is babbitt metal, not sure what the top bar is.
Anyone want to venture a guess?

Both are babbit metal.
The top one is used for slow moving bearings (has more lead than tin)
The bottom one is high speed babbit (has more tin than lead.)
don't know their properties as boolit material but suspect the top one might be used in small quanities similar to linotype.

The top one looks like it belongs to the group of "Hardware" babbitts. They run around 2% Tin, 13% Antimony, and 85% Lead.
The bottom one is 88% Tin, 7% Antimony, and 5% Copper.
