Just a shot in the dark;
A buttstock for a Savage 94 single shot might work- but would probably be birch(AKA “walnut finished hardwood”.

Thanks TBG. I'll look in to it. birch would work in a pinch. It's an old shotgun that was my DIL's grandmothers and no real value other than sentimental. Gp
