I would like to copy a thread that might be closed after it is posted for 30 days without activity.

Is there a way to do this?

You could just copy the link from your browser, like this:

https://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?462460-Copying-a-thread

Or you could hit "reply with quote" and then CTRL+A, CTRL+C, and go wherever you want to put the information and CTRL+V, like this:

If I understood better what your end goal is I might have other suggestions.

On the gray bar below the thread title and above post #1, there is a drop down of thread tools. Can copy the printable version as one of the options.

Can use the browser save function: File->Save Page As...

This way even the images are saved and the page can be opened in your browser and look exactly like the original.
