figure if its any good it will be fun and if its a *** it will make a nice flag holder out in the yard. i had a saiga years ago and always regretted selling it. id take it to camp and the nephews would fill about a hundred water ballons and put 10 of the out at 50 yards and do a mag dump on them. make for a wicked home defense gun if its reliable

DAMN...Thought you had gotten a Perazzi or Kreighoff.
Just this week, a fella had one of those on the firing line. He said he spent a little time "de-horning" it ( which I took to mean he took it apart and smoothed any rough edges). It ran flawlessly and looked like a hoot to shoot.

no but i hear they have nice plastic. ive only had 2 nice shotguns. a side lock 20 guage browning side by side. i gave it to my grandson when he went in the army. second was a red label 20 that i gave the grandaughter to give to my great grandson when hes old enough. my tastes run more with 870s and mossberg 500s. great grandson is set though. so far hes got that red label, an ar15,a 700, a glock 19 and a lcp and he just turned 4 months old.
It's good to plan ahead..............

As far as I know most Sporting Clays clubs in my area won't allow their use.

I truly love it when a baby already has more guns than some adults!
Raise them right, I say.[emoji106]

Lloyd,
Ok, so what is the question? The piece looks like a space gun, but it is still only a shotgun good to 50 or 100 yards depending on ammo. Get it and have fun.

ive pretty much set up all my grand kids and this first great grand kid. taking a chance with this one giving him an ar because his uncles were a bit wild and i just wouldnt trust them with one that could be traced back to me. but i wont be around long enough to know what he will be like or the world around him. his mother is hands down the most level headed and ambitious of all the grand kids so i know he will at least be raised right. also thought it was wize to set him up because the way things are going by the time hes 21 we will be speaking chinese and the only guns will be those stashed away. by the time hes 21 youll probably have to get a permit and register a new butcher knife

At 230$ that is not what I consider a "High dollar shotgun" It does look like a whole barrel of fun though.

Was talking to the owner of a LGS the other day, he said a SF Sargent from the 7th Group down the road a piece, bought one from his store and the SF Sgt said it worked just fine. Without me looking for them, do they make larger capacity mags for them, like they do for the Saiga?

I looked at the PSA link and noticed some questions inquiring if it will function properly with 2 3/4” ammo. The product info says 3” chamber.
Three years ago we saw a couple (not sure of the manufacturer) come through the range. They ran 3” fine but wouldn’t cycle proper With 2 3/4”.

Hah I thought to myself "what in the hell interests him that he doesn't already have?" Imagining a Parker or some high end OU..

well i ran 25 2 3/4 00 buck handloads and 25 #6 2 3/4 handloads and 10 00 buck loads that were full power bt in low brass hulls and it never missed a beat. if im being picky. the cheap plastic folding sights are a joke. the trigger pull is about as bad as it gets and loading mags is as much fun as a smith shield. the slide release and mag release are back by the mag and theres about no way you can reload without taking it off you shoulder. but i did find a mag loading tool on line and its coming and i had a set of magpul flip up sights . but that said a semi auto that runs handloads perfectly even a few with crappy crimps boggles my mind.i had an 1100 rem that i sold because it wouldnt

ive put a 100 2 3/4 loads through it. high and low brass but none of it wimpy field loads. it ran my handloads like butter. heres a review i gave on another forum today
ive put a 100 rounds through it so far. buck slugs and fine and it has missed a beat. no light field loads though because thats not what a bought it for. it shot a 5 shot group with a slug i casted that went 4 inch at 50 using the vortex red dot i put on it. so its a decent gun. that said the trigger is about as bad as it gets. sometimes i hesitate because i think the safeties on. mag release and bolt release are ar styled units but you have to take the gun off your shoulder to push them and the mags at least the ones i have dont drop free. so your best bet is to blow the hell out whatever your shooting at with the first 10 ;-) it came with flip up sites that are cheap plastic that id never have on a gun i depend on so it got a pair of magpuls out of the parts drawer. take down completely and i mean completely only takes a few minutes and it does kind of have an ak vibe going on with the internals. bottom line is its a hell of a gun for 200 bucks even the 250 it would cost not on sale. if the trigger was just bad and not terrible id buy another one
