Daughter has been wanting me to smoke some bacon twists. Had a small beef roast and a couple of pounds of link deer sausage we needed to use and she brought me a pound of thick sliced bacon.
Got a glass dish, cup of brown sugar, some various rubs I had made, and black pepper, red pepper flakes. Put on rack and smoked about an hour at 275, not too dry, still soft chewey but oh my how good..... BACON. Soft, hot, sweet.....
