I've had to buy (shudder) .44 and .41's and I'm almost out of 480's and 140 grainers for my .357 Sig!

Saturday I'll stoke up both pots and cast away enough for the coming year and PC them as needed later in the summer.

Another reason to be retired :) If summer I cast in the morning. If winter I cast in the afternoon.

Thirty nine glorious degrees here this morning!
It is time to cast bullets again.

One summer I was in Dallas and I "thought" south Florida was hot, it was IIRC 113 degrees outdoors but it was a "dry heat". I couldn't imagine casting there until the winter.

On the positive side the pot would heat up fast!

I do most of my casting in the late Winter after hunting season is closed and before it starts getting hot. After a few years of having a few bullets left over I have built up a surplus.

Funny, my surplus comes about in the same manner.
