Does anyone have one of these pistols? When my dad had it, he ordered a replacement grip for it but the holes don't line up.

I ordered another set from Vintage Gun Grips and they don't line up either. Just wondering if someone can take some measurements.

Thanks.

check with https://gun-parts.com/index.html/ Bob's gun parts. They supposedly bought all of the parts from Unique/MAPF when they closed up shop.

Thanks, however my problem is whether two sets of grips are made wrong, or the holes in the grip frame were drilled in the wrong positions.

Email Bob's Gunparts and ask them to measure a FACTORY grip for you. My guess is that the aftermarket grips are sloppily made and therefor don't fit.

It is a nice handling little pistol.

I hadn't thought to reach out to a supplier for measurements, good idea!

I'd guess the grip was made poorly. I don't remember where dad got a replacement, but could very well have been the same supplier. I'm going to go ahead and modify the holes in the grip by filling with tinted epoxy and redrilling in the correct spots; just irritating to spend $60 on a grip that doesn't work.

How about a picture for us folks who’ve never seen such a wondrous thing?

Here it is, including a pic showing misaligned holes.

Thank you. I have to admit that’s a new one on me.

It's a neat little pistol. Seems well made, but the factory grips are well known for cracking and warping, making me wonder if a defective one has been used to copy new ones!

I've never seen another one in person.
