Does anyone know what alloys IDEAL suggested before Lyman bought them out?

Don't know exact answer, but if it exists (as an "official" IDEAL designation) it's probably derivable from a close look here:

Remember though, "IDEAL" went away as a company near 100 years ago. Thereafter it was Lyman.

INCIDENTALLY: Can anyone tell me where the vaunted "Keith" 16-1 lead/tin alloy came to be known to have BHN of 12?
My own testing says not much more than '8'

Ideal Handbook #27, reprinted by Lyman just after they bought out Ideal and before they started doing their own revisions, states that 40:1 lead:tin is good enough for the average boolit, with 16:1 taking care of all hardness requirements except for .25 and .30 calibers with fast twists, where the judgement, backed by experimental data, of the caster/shooter must be employed for best results.

There was no "Ideal Alloy" as such; not like Lyman #1 and #2.

I only employ 3 alloys: Pure lead, 30-1 (effectively pure lead), and #2
I've never found any reason (or any application) requiring anything else.
