I have a couple thousand 100 grain cast bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. that have a Brinnell hardness of 12. What is the max. velocity I should shoot for in my .32 H&R Ruger Single Six? I prefer to use HP38/Win -231 powder since I have lots of it. I don't see any load data in any of the 3 manuals I currently have.
Any recommendations, gentlemen?

I am sorry. I posted info for the wrong weight bullet. For a 100 grain jhp it says 3.3-3.7 of HP38.http://https://reloadammo.com/32-h-r-magnum-reloading-data/

I don't have experience with .32mag specifically, but when it comes to .38spl, a BHN of 12 is typically a limit of 1100-1200fps. And that is if you have sharp and distinct rifling in your bore. If your bore is worn or just shallow from the factory, be more conservative.

You don't mention barrel length but my own experience with my Ruger SS (original run) with a 6 1/2" barrel using 98 - 105 gr cast bullets of COWW + 2% tin with 231, Bullseye, 700X and RedDot is about 1000 - 1100 fps is max velocity based on keeping the pressure under 25,000 psi (actually measured). The bullets wit a BHN of 12 - 14 will go another 200+ fps with slower powders such as 2400, H110 and Lil'Gun. However, I find 'comfortable loads with the faster powders in the 950 - 1000 fps range.

Thanks, gentlemen. My barrel is 5.5".
I just found a good bit of Bullseye powder in my stash that should work well also.
