This bullet was pulled from a 7.5x55 Swiss cartridge. It weighs 197 grains with the gas check, is .309 and 1.108” long. It came with reloads when I bought my K31 but the seller isn’t available to tell me what it is.

My best guess is it’s RCBS Silhouette 308-200-SIL which appears to be discontinued.

It was loaded with what appears to be 2400, 21 grains. That would be a middle of the road load for a 200 grain bullet in 308 Win. This load in my K31 is sub MOA with light recoil.

Sure reminds me of something NOE would make.

If it's softer than Lyman #2 alloy, it'll tend to drop a little on the heavy side,
and is probably is listed as a 190 gr.

I don’t know the answer, but I like the design. Profile is similar to the 31141 that I use in my 30/30. Lube bands different though.

Check this thread. Bullet looks similar, different weights and hollow pointed. Might want to check the MP line.

Yep it looks like the RCBS 165 SIL I have. With COWW alloy mine weighs in well above 165 gr but not that much.

My vote is for the RCBS SIL boolit. It looks like one of the thousands I sent down the Sillywett range.

Thanks for all your help. I found further information and was able to determine that this is in fact the NOE 311-195-RF GC J1 made for the K31.
