I got a deal on some Federal 243 brass and prepped it.
I have not loads any 243 ammo since 1983 and I could swear that I used 100gr BTHP Match bullets but I can’t find any and Sierra has no record of any production of them!
The gentleman that gave me that loading information and taught me reloading and casting is long gone.
It is hell getting old and having memories mixed together or completely deleted, and not having the friends around anymore to help solve the problem!

I checked the Sierra 2nd edition manual. The only 100gr with a BT was a spitzer. In the 90's Sierra put out a 107gr Match BTHP. Sierra #5 has load data for the 107 loaded in the 243. I had no such luck with loading data for the 107 in a 6br. My barrel didn't like them but loved the 105 Lapua Scener.

Back in the day I remember an 85gr BTHP but don't know if it was labeled Match. Sure looked like one. Looked a lot like the 77gr BTHP Match made for the 223/5.56 made for the Army in Afghanistan.

Memory is foggy about many things from that long ago!
It is really frustrating!

It could be that they were match 95 gr HPBT Sierra has made these for a few decades. may have been bulk and placed in the wrong box. my best guess.

I think that you could be right!
I just found those after doing a search for 6mm BTHP Match bullets!
But the price of them I will be making my own with 22 magnums brass!
