All-

Can anybody point me in the right direction, please. I would like to buy / have made a "Lee" type push-thru sizing die made to .503". I have a .501" sizing die which serves for some of my needs. I would just like to get a .503 and see it that is any better for what I want to do. I thought some on this site did custom work and you know of anybody, please let me know.

I don't know whether Lee still makes custom push thru dies now but I got one made from them about 4 or 5 years ago. Might want to check with them. james

I have resized several Lee sizing dies.
I just split the end of a wood dowel and put in wet and dry sandpaper.
I spun the dowel in the sizing die with my electric drill.
I kept oiling the sandpaper as it spun.
I took out dies from like .312 out to .316
.323 to .325 and some .359 to .363 for my .38S&W

A simple lap would work to open-up a 0.501" sizer to 0.0503.
That lap would cost about $35:

Or you could make a lap out of a piece of 1/2" brass or copper tubing, and a hacksaw.

If you cast a lot of odd calibers it might be worth looking at the NOE push through die with interchangeable sizers.

Thanks all. I'll check into your suggestions. BTW, I did try to PM "Ammohead" but didn't get a response.

Check out North east Trade Co. They have a wide selection of push through sizers. I've not used them yet. I just picked up a 52 cal Knight Muzzy. Waiting on a custom conical mold before ordering the sizer.

NOE makes some push through dies.
