Just got in an Accurate .452 double cav. mold. Rated at 297grs. Using scrap WW, they drop from the mold right at 300grs, .4535 to .454 dia. Very consistent. Once I got acquainted with the mold as to the temp it like , & cadence , it was wonderful. Went thru a pot full of alloy quickly. A real joy to use. Pictures show bullets right after casting ,& then after powder coating. They showed a BHN of 11.5. After a couple of days they will cure to about 13.5 to 14 BHN. Ran some thru my Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8" Bbl 45 Colt using a load of Unique for about 750 fps. Then upped it a bit more for around 1000 fps. Over my make shift rest, kneeling, I was able to maintain about a 2" group. Once they harden up I will try again. So far extremely satisfied
Pictures show bullets right after casting & then after powder coating. The PC may look strange to you because of the mixture of colors I use. It appears pebbly, but is very smooth. An optical illusion.
