Looking for video cameras system for my house and I really don’t want to be crawling around in the attic.
Do any of you have wireless cameras that work?

I have this System.
It's wireless, no cloud storage or fees, Vids stored on base unit, and lots of other features.
2 outdoor cameras $199 -$50 (if you have prime... $149)

I have had very good luck with WYZE cameras. They also make quite a few other products. The smart plugs work well too.

keep in mind most serious crooks today have jammers that render wireless systems inoperable so if you need the footage for evidence you need to go wired

I'm not sure the crooks around the houses of people posting here are that "serious" or sophisticated to have jammers...

I'm also thinking about a security camera.
looking for something that is stand alone.
3 or 4 cameras
remote is fine.
something i can watch on the computer wired, not wifi.
old school these days.

Keep in mind how strong/reliable your wifi signal is. Out here it is not so good. I recently switched to Starlink which is better but I will have to put up some extenders. I do have a remote camera in my chicken coop to make sure the girls are all in at night and can get frustrating with lousy service.

I got a wireless phone once.
Didn't have it plugged in, but turned it on to be sure it worked.
I could hear my neighbor talking on it.
She couldn't hear me, but I could hear her.
Never got another wireless phone again.
Spooky

I’m loving the Wyze cameras. Wireless and record to micro SD and or only for a small fee.
