Here's another old scope I picked up this summer after many years of searching!

Mounted on my George C. Schoyen Ballard #6 Schuetzen in .32-40 cartridge.

It's an early John Sidle target scope from the late 1800's, and came with it's original canvas draw string bag, and leather scope case. Power is likely 8x-10x from what I can tell, but they were never marked.
Sidle worked for optical company in Philadelphia in the latte 1800's and built scopes part time. Then after Ned Roberts wrote about the Sidle scopes being the finest target scopes around, his company took off and he went full time.
In 1908 he moved his company from Philadelphia to Corning, Ca. and made scopes until 1918 when he retired.
