I don’t have everything to reload the 30 Remington, to neck size I used a 300 Savage FL, flaring was done with a 3006/308 M die and ended up crimping with a Lee 30-30 factory crimp die.

Did similar, Lyman whack-a-mole style sizer, Lyman M die, 30-30 seater, then back in the Whack-a-mole (gently!) to tighten up the case mouth.
It worked for me.

Yes, Lyman made whack-a-mole dies before Lee even existed.

Make do with what you got!
Long ago I used .32 H&R dies to neck size 7.62x 54 and seat the bullets.
Match quality?
Heck no but they worked.

I used to Mcguyver my 30 Remington in much the same way although I used a Lee 30/30 collet die to size and deprime and a NOE die to expand the neck for cast bullets.. I was lucky to finally snag a real set of 30 Remington dies and never looked back.

My biggest problem is that the Remington model 14 I use it in does not have any type of camming action when chambering a round. When I sized the cases down in a standard 30/30 die the shoulder would also be sized down. Great for chambering but it overworked the brass, and if you shoot a 30 Rem. you know how much the brass costs and how difficult it is to replace.

My kudos vis your ingenuity! I had my first .30 Remington arm -- an antique Model 8 -- 7,0xx serial number which was made in 1907 -- for almost three years before I found a set of .30 Remington dies; a suitable bullet mould, and a decent (for me) supply of brass! Bion, my major challenge was finding brass, but I lucked out by finding Quality Cartridge ( https://www.qual-cart.com/300%20cal.htm ) . As now, then I had to call and get on their list -- but it was worth the wait. Frankly, I was tooooo "chicken" to play -- albeit, again, I admire your demonstrated skill! -- MacGuvey with a 115 year old firearm. 317541317541

For others in this boat a 308 sizer all the way down works fine on the 30-30 . No reference for the 30 Rem mine is a 32 Rem and like the 30 , the Winchester dies didn't give me what I needed.

I remember Grumpa sold 30 rem brass that he made from 30/30 win brass. I have tried once to make some and ended up heating the head of the cases till they changed color slightly and never got an extractor groove cut successfully. Some day I will try again.

Graf has 25 Remington in stock, run them in a full length resizer and your in business. RCBS has 30 Remington dies in stock.
